Thursday, October 11th: Dan Hall, Consul of the USA in Bordeaux and Brandon Pierce, France Desk Officer at the Department of State

Dear all,

On October 11th, BDX-USA is honored to greet the Consul fot he USA in Bordeaus, Mr. Dna Hall who will come along with France Desk Officer at the Department of State, Brandon Pierce.


Dan Hall


Brandon Pierce is a foreign service officer ‎working on the France and Monaco Desk in the State Department's Bureau of European Affairs. He previously served at embassies in Baghdad, Beijing, ‎and Abu Dhabi and speaks French, Chinese, and Arabic. Originally from Richmond, VA, Brandon is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he studied Economics and French. 


The United State Department of State (DOS) often referred to as the State Department, is the United States federal executive department that advises the President and represents the country in  international affairs and foreign policy issues. Equivalent to the foreign ministy of other countries, it was established in 1789 as the nation's first executive department.

We will discuss the American perspective on France among other topics and also we will explain what is at stake with the upcoming mid-term élections in the USA.
