The first 500,000 issues of an eventual 3 million print run are scheduled to go on sale today, and if I can still find one I will buy it for the Library.
We need to make every issue count.
Freedom of speech has been much debated recently, and I would like to leave you with a remark by the Greek orator Demosthenes (3rd century BC) in praise of Athenean Democracy: that in Athens one is free to praise the Spartan constitution, whereas in Sparta it is only the Spartan constitution that one is allowed to praise.
